The Case Formulation and Intervention Planning for Mental Health Professionals course is an intensive 80-hour professional development program.
Effective mental health practice extends beyond identifying symptoms and assigning diagnoses. It requires a comprehensive understanding of an individual's unique experiences, strengths, vulnerabilities, cultural background, developmental history, environmental influences, and psychological functioning. Case formulation serves as the foundation of evidence-based mental health practice by helping professionals understand why a client's difficulties developed, what factors maintain these concerns, and how appropriate interventions can facilitate recovery.
