The Comprehensive Paralegal Training is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge, foundational skills, and a deeper understanding of the essential functions of a paralegal in supporting lawyers, legal professionals, and advocacy organizations. The course introduces participants to the fundamental concepts of paralegal work, legal research, documentation, court processes, and other basic legal support functions.
Through a combination of discussions, practical exercises, case-based activities, and guided learning, participants will develop a clearer understanding of how legal processes work and how paralegals contribute to the efficient preparation and management of legal matters. The training also emphasizes the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, ethics, professionalism, and proper coordination when performing paralegal responsibilities.
The course will equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to assist in basic legal research, document preparation, case organization, information gathering, and other lawful support activities under the appropriate supervision of a lawyer or legal professional. It also seeks to strengthen participants' ability to navigate basic court procedures and understand the various stages of legal proceedings.
By the end of the training, participants are expected to have a stronger foundation in paralegal practice, a better grasp of court processes and legal concepts, and improved confidence in providing administrative and research assistance in support of legal work and advocacy initiatives.
